PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Indications
Symphysis fractures
Pelvic brim fractures
Ilium/Iliac wing fractures
Acetabulum fractures
Product Feature
Sometimes pelvic osteosynthesis can be performed with screws alone, but in most cases tension screw fixation must be supplemented with one or more plates.
The bone surface in the pelvic region has a very complex topography. To achieve precise fixation, the contour of the plate should match the bone surface. A poorly contoured plate may result in fracture displacement when the screw is fully tightened through the plate.
Reconstruction plates are designed to allow contouring in all three planes.
Uniform cross-section
Coaxial combi-holes in locking plates
Low profile and rounded edges
Improved contourability
Allow the use of locking screws or cortex screws in the same round conical plate hole.
Reduce the risk of soft tissue irritation.
